I caved...

So yes, I finally caved...this is so the perfect puppy. It was the kind of situation where there was a instant bond and you just couldn't walk away. Isaiah was so attached instantly. The plus for me is that they stay little and don't shed at all. How cute is he????

Utah trip

Our trip went waaay too fast!! Here are some the events of the week....

They swam everyday... This is adorable neice. She couldn't find her swim goggles so she thought ski goggle would do the trick.

Found the neighborhood snow cone shack

and played football

My sister got her new beagle puppy and brought him right over.

No surprise that Joshua was instantly in love. He even got the first kiss. Isn't he cute???

We are in Utah...just for a week. This was us this morning and what we were looking at out our window. The boys were glued to the window most of the flight. Isaiah loved the whole experience riding the 'Jet'. I wish I could have recorded his face as we took off. He was unsure/exstatic. He thought it was pretty cool that he got peanuts and sprite. Right before we boarded he said "Can we go see Heavenly Father cause he lives in the sky too?" Happy to say there were no mishaps like I thought there could have been flying by myself.

Puppies everywhere

I don't know if it's just Colorado but everywhere we go we see people and there four legged friends parks, malls, and even restraunts. Now it's got the boys saying they want a puppy. Joshua has been a puppy lover from day one and everytime he sees one he yells at the top of his little lungs and makes us look too. Isaiah has become more so just lately. We got to take our friends chocolate lab to the park and Isaiah played fetch with him the entire time we were there. It was so adorable to see him with a little pal. He kept saying "good boy, Bentley" and patting his not so little head. I wish I would have taken my camera. And it doesn't help that one of the girls out here working with us just bought a tiny baby chihuahua that Isaiah has fallen in love with. He even got to take him golfing and got to puppy-sit on the golf cart. He was so proud. Anyway, if you've had a puppy I'm curious how it was having a dog and kids. What kind of dog did you have and would you recommend it??? Convince me.....one way or another, I want to hear the good and the bad before I decide.

This is at a pet adoption fair. The Great Dane rescue was our favorite booth...call me crazy but that would be my first choice of dog. Mike thinks I am CRAZY!!! I am a horse girl I like big animals.

My boyZ breakin'

I had one sick boy a few days ago...I still don't know exactally what the problem was. We got back from Costco and he just started running a fever and then randomly falling asleep. One thing about Joshua is that he NEVER sleeps anywhere but his bed so for him to fall asleep watching a movie or otherwise just never happens. I found him like this totally asleep. That's how terrible he must have felt...poor guy.

Most of the next day this is where he wanted to be...with his 'B' (blanket) on the couch just takin it easy.

The next morning pretty much back to himself eating blueberries...

...and whipped cream...looks yummy doesn't it?

Pool Time

I'm sure this is the first of many pool posts...We are at the pool three or four times a week now the weather is cooperating. Although it's warmer it's still not St. George hot.

This is where Joshua spends a lot of his time.

Isaiah is becoming quite the little fish...

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

We got a chance to go to the zoo here. It is by far favorite zoo I have ever been too and gorgeous. I am a sucker for lush green mountainsides which is just where this is located. It was so beautiful.

The first thing you see are the giraffes. They have always been Isaiahs favorite thing to see and we don't usually get to see them up close so he was thrilled....
Check out their tongues!!!

I guess I should mention that they do let you feed the giraffes...just so you aren't thinking I missed the sign about "don't feed the animals"

I'm so glad I captured Joshuas face....he was exstatic!!

They just let the wallaby's hop around and they are so friendly we even got to pet them.

This is a baby wallaby she is seven months old....how adorable.

We even got lucky and saw the bears up and fishing...that was fun to watch.

Isaiah got to ride a pony...I called it a horse and I was quickly corrected that "it's not a horse it's a pony"

I have a thing for hippos...don't know why I just think they are super neat. We got there just in time for feeding time.

Just another family day of excitement. We are having the time of our lives out here!!
