Enjoying Her!

A little girl lights up a house! I think it's the pink....it's everywhere and I LOVE it! I think I'm more girly inside than I thought.

I'm totally into all things glittery and sparkly.

The boys can't get enough of her. They beg to help change her...although they fight over having to throw away diapers. Joshua apparently likes dress up already...I've caught him 'trying' to change her clothes and dressing up in her clothes that are too big....shhhh don't tell Mike. He'd have a fit!

Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

At one month...she weighed 7lbs 6oz

Her hair looks so fuzzy!

They HAVE to be in pictures with her...She loves to look at them can you tell?

Catching her first smiles...Totally horrible pictures I know...but I just grabbed my camera and didn't have time to change the settings.

Oh Beeehaaaave ;)

Now at two months she weighs 9lbs 7ozs

At night she'll go about six hours and then four...so she's already sleeping WAY better than the boys did which I couldn't be more grateful for. She's really content to just hang out and is just finding her little voice...I forgot how cute it is to hear a baby coo.

Her eyes smile don't they?

In LoVe!!!

Tiny Angel

I knew I wanted newborn pictures taken professionally. I totally love the creative photographer and what they can do with photoshop. Our photographer is no exception to true talent. Brittany Stucki with My Framed Photography.
Go check her out and let her take your next awesome family picture.

Sessions are only supposed to take 2-3 hours but Alayna decided she wanted to be social and be wide awake so it took almost 5 hours to finish and Brittany was incredibly patient.

Thank you SO much Brittany!

These were taken at 6 days old...I can't believe she's already a month old.

Enjoy ;)

Seriously??!!!

Have you seen this awesome, incredible, brilliant machine???

I've been in a CraZy craft funk for the last few months and am slowly becoming a crafting junkie. It's what I do when I'm bored, which lately is more often than not and with a new baby being stuck in the house has given me full run of the computer all day and of limitless craft blogs to drool over.

My favorites file runneth over.

Any Who...there was a giveaway on Little Miss Momma which I am a loyal follower and out of 2,381 entries I totally won!!
{Insert my face here}

This is only a few awesome projects it can help you create...

Mike says he has not seen me that excited in a LONG time. Yep! I'm Stoked and can't wait for the precious package to arrive at my doorstep.

Farewell I'm off to plan my first project!

Christmas at our house

Christmas at our house was totally fun...of course. Poor Isaiah woke up early and we made him watch cartoons until Joshua woke up so I could sleep in a little longer. He had to wait for over an hour before we finally got up and decided we'd tortured him long enough and woke Joshua up so we could unwrap.

The boys are a little on the obsessed side with Star Wars and the jammies seemed to fuel the craziness even more.

We had to put her in a stocking...she was our favorite present of all!

What an incredible year it was! I'm so grateful for all these little squirts. They make holidays so much more fun...I can't even imagine how life was without them.

The princess has arrived!

Alayna decided she just couldn't wait any longer to see us and decided to grace us with her presence. There has never been anything so sweet that has existed on earth thus far. We are completely smitten by her!

Monday afternoon I went for an unscheduled appointment to ask some questions about a few things that were going on and they ended up doing an ultrasound and notice that...
1. My amniotic fluid was quite low
2. She was measuring very small--only four pounds, which is where she should have been a few weeks before. It seemed to make the doctor nervous so he made a decision that she would be better off here and so they walked me right over and admitted me. I called Mike, who had just left for Vegas hours before and told him the news. He got here as quick as he could.

They started pitocin at 5:30pm and she was here at 1:30am. Weighed 5lbs 4ozs. 18in. long. They had the whole NICU and respitory clan in my room waiting just in case there were any complications but she was a total champ and surprised us all. So happy she was finally here and as healthy as can be.

Pictures are SO deceiving. She doesn't look half as small as she really is.

This was totally Joshua's reaction to her...he came in the room and saw her and couldn't stop giggling. He's doing awesome with her.

Plus one more makes FIVE!

She's already got him wrapped pretty tightly around her teeny little finger.

There will be many more pictures to come. Now if I can just wrap my head around how life is going to be now I'll be in a good place. It takes a mentally tough woman to do this...I hope I can.

Turkey Tri

Turkey Tri...athlon that is!

Isaiah has asked to do some sort of a race for probably over a year and I finally looked into it enough to get him signed up for this one. Why did I start with a triathlon??? Who knows...I knew he could do it. He's an excellent swimmer and biker and loves to run so why not?

As you can tell he was totally stoked about the whole thing.

Notice...goggles on top of his head??? He was to anxious to jump in...once he hit the first lap he finally put them on.

Go #230!!! I was quite a proud mom that day. He makes me want to do one myself...I've always wanted to. I think he's caught the runners bug...he's already asking when he can do it again.
